Variety – the Children’s Charity of Buffalo and Western New York, known locally as the Variety Club, has served the region’s sick, disabled and disadvantaged children for more than 90 years. Based in Lancaster, New York, it supports children facing illness, disability or disadvantage with programs ranging from medical interventions to sports and the arts, and all donations stay local. Its flagship event is the annual Variety Kids Telethon, one of the nation’s longest-running locally produced telethons, which benefits the Variety Tent #7 Robert Warner Rehabilitation Center, Oishei Children’s Hospital and more than a dozen local children’s organizations.
