The Rotary Club of Woodstock, Illinois, was chartered on April 22, 1968, with 31 members, and more than 350 people attended its charter ceremony. Early projects included helping start the Woodstock Rescue Squad, and today the club offers adult vocational scholarships, supports the Christmas Clearing House and backs local arts through the Arterra Project. Its members meet Fridays at noon at the Woodstock Country Club, and its annual Jeep raffle, run through Woodstock Rotary Charities, helps fund its work.
