The Rotary Club of Waukegan, Illinois, works to foster community service, promote high ethical standards in business and the professions, and advance understanding, goodwill and peace through fellowship. The club supports nonprofit groups that provide essential services, including hunger relief, literacy programs with the Waukegan Public Library and Waukegan School District 60, Scouting, the Waukegan Park District and Rotary’s polio eradication campaign. It also sponsors the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, and its classic car raffles helped fund this support.
