Notre Dame de la Mer Parish serves the Roman Catholic community of the Wildwoods and Diamond Beach in New Jersey. It was formed when Bishop Joseph Galante of the Diocese of Camden merged the island’s two parishes, Saint Ann and Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, announced in April 2008, and it keeps two year-round worship sites, St. Ann’s Church in Wildwood and Assumption Church in Wildwood Crest. Its car raffle supported Catholic education in the Wildwoods and Cape May County, including Wildwood Catholic, now Wildwood Catholic Academy for PreK3 through 12th grade.
