The Medford Area Youth Hockey Association in Medford, Wisconsin, was incorporated as a nonprofit in 1984 and is run by an elected board and volunteer parents and community members. Its mission is to give local youth an exciting, enjoyable and safe chance to develop physical, social and mental skills and strong character through hockey and figure skating, with instruction and competition for all levels at reasonable cost. The association runs the member-owned Simek Recreation Center, and its car raffle helps meet those goals.
