The Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline, Massachusetts, is home to America’s Oldest Car Collection, shown in the historic Carriage House in 64-acre Larz Anderson Park. The collection began with Larz and Isabel Anderson’s 1899 Winton Runabout. The couple bought 32 new motorcars over their lives, and after Isabel’s death in 1948 the collection was entrusted to the Veteran Motor Car Club of America. The museum offers rotating exhibits, lectures, family programs and lawn events, supported in part by its Porsche sweepstakes.
