The Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation, based in Northfield, Illinois, has two missions: funding gastrointestinal cancer research and providing real estate education. It funds GI cancer research in partnership with the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. It has committed more than $5 million to that research and provided more than 2,200 student mentorships.
