Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, based at 4200 Essen Lane in Baton Rouge, is one of the largest health systems in Louisiana and a leading provider for more than half of the state’s population. It is a Catholic system sponsored by the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady. Its ministries include Our Lady of the Lake (founded 1923), Our Lady of Lourdes (1949), St. Francis (1913) and St. Dominic (1946, joined in 2019).
