Fort Hood Area Habitat for Humanity in Killeen, Texas, seeks to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope through homeownership, community development and home repair. Habitat families help build their homes, take part in financial education and pay an affordable mortgage. Through its Pillars of Promise initiative it is committed to building five homes for five Bell County families, and its Freedom Raffle helps pay for that work.
