The Defiance Rotary Foundation in Defiance, Ohio, was formed in 1996 as the official charitable arm of the Defiance Rotary Club, receiving, managing and distributing gifts that benefit local, national and world communities. The club has served Defiance as part of Rotary International since 1920. Guided by the motto Service Above Self, it focuses on literacy, peacebuilding, health and economic development, and its car raffle has helped fund that work.
