The Dale Jr. Foundation, based in Mooresville, North Carolina, was launched by racing driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. in October 2007. It works to empower underprivileged youth by giving them the resources to boost their confidence, improve their education and achieve extraordinary goals, and it focuses on five areas: empowerment, education, wellness, hunger and hope. Its programs include Driven to Give, which auctions off race-worn gloves signed by NASCAR drivers.
