The Cobra Experience is a nonprofit museum in Martinez, California, in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded by curator Drew Serb and open since November 2014, it showcases original Cobras, Shelby GT350s and GT500s, a Daytona Coupe, a GT40 and other cars from Shelby American’s racing years in the 1960s, along with original shop equipment used to build them. Its mission is the promotion, conservation, education and preservation of the cars built by Shelby American, and teaching the next generation of car enthusiasts about that history.
