The Chicago Chesed Fund, now known as ChesedChicago, is a nonprofit in Lincolnwood, Illinois, that helps families in crisis throughout the Chicagoland area. It offers more than 80 programs and services that assist more than 6,000 people a year, with a focus on fighting hunger, preventing eviction and homelessness, and providing basics such as clothing and furniture, and its flagship program is a 44,000-square-foot warehouse food pantry. Its stated mission is to help as many people as it can, in as many ways as possible, with kindness, dignity and respect.
