The Center for Enriched Living in Riverwoods, Illinois, was founded in 1968 by two mothers looking for after-school programs for their children with developmental disabilities. Today it enriches the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through programs that build personal success, fun and friendship, employment and community involvement, offered seven days a week in a building designed for universal access.
