Calvary Chapel of Emmett, Idaho, began as a Bible study of 15 people that Pastor Mike and his wife Shannon started in April 2001, and the church opened in October 2001 in the former Brick Elementary School. Its mission statement is ‘Knowing God and Making Him known.’ In 2013 the church took on a small private school as a new ministry, which became Calvary Christian Academy.
