The Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming, the town founded by its namesake William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody, brings together five museums under one roof: the Draper Natural History Museum, the Buffalo Bill Museum, the Whitney Western Art Museum, the Plains Indian Museum and the Cody Firearms Museum. A Smithsonian Affiliate about 50 miles from the East Gate of Yellowstone National Park, it aims to inspire, educate and engage global audiences through an authentic experience with the American West. Its annual classic car raffle supports the Center.
