Brother Wolf Animal Rescue in Asheville, North Carolina, was founded in 2007 as a grassroots, no-kill organization working to build a no-kill community in Western North Carolina. Its mission is to better the lives of companion animals and the people who love them, and it runs an adoption center open to the public along with programs that help keep pets in their homes. The group receives no government funding, and volunteers are the backbone of its work.
