Brevard Music Center in Brevard, North Carolina, is a summer institute and festival that teaches gifted young musicians to prepare and perform great musical works at a high level. Each summer, students from across the country and around the world study and perform alongside professional faculty on its 180-acre wooded campus in the mountains of Western North Carolina. It was founded in 1936.
