The Boys and Girls Club of Elma, Marilla, and Wales serves young people from those three New York towns at its main site at 2080 Girdle Road in Elma. Chartered by Boys and Girls Clubs of America in 1974, the Club started out in the basement of the Iroquois school and opened its own building in 2000 after a community capital campaign. It offers a safe place to learn and grow, caring adult staff, after-school programs, athletics and summer day camp, with scholarships for families in need, and its mission is to inspire and empower all young people, especially those who need it most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
