The Belleville East Marching Lancers are one of the largest student organizations at Belleville East High School in Belleville, Illinois, with well over 150 musicians plus color guard and dancers. The band has traveled to bowl games and parades around the country, winning grand champion honors at the Peach Bowl in 2002 and the Liberty Bowl in 2004, and later marching in the Outback Bowl and the Indianapolis 500 Festival Parade. Its band parents’ organization raised money for the program with car raffles from about 2015 to 2018.
