Ability Connection Colorado, at 801 Yosemite Street in Denver, serves Coloradans with disabilities and other life challenges through inclusive early-childhood education, employment programs and parent-driven family support. Its roots go back to 1946, when eight mothers formed a Mother’s Club because they refused to institutionalize their children with disabilities. The organization was known as Cerebral Palsy of Colorado until it took its current name in September 2013.
