Riding and caring for horses can be a powerful tool for healing individuals of all ages with physical, cognitive, emotional, and developmental challenges of all ages. Our programs are safe, effective and affordable! Equine Assisted Therapy consists of weekly classes during four 10-12 week sessions in our state of the art facility at the Riverside Equestrian Center in Petaluma with easy access from Sonoma and Marin counties, as well as San Francisco and the East Bay. Lessons are individually designed to suit each rider’s particular need, ability, stamina, and are consistent with predetermined goals that are established in conjunction with parents, teachers, caregivers, physicians and other therapists. Our services are open to any person with a disability who can benefit from this special form of therapy.
