COPING Bereavement Support Groups of Ontario Inc. (the COPING Centre), Cambridge, Ontario, is a registered non-profit charity founded in 1990 by Glenn and Roslyn Crichton after the loss of their five-year-old daughter, Rachele. COPING offers free support programs, retreats and educational seminars for families and individuals grieving the loss of a loved one, led by professionals and volunteers who have all experienced grief themselves, from a century-old estate overlooking the Grand River. It is not government funded and has provided free care for 34 years through community support and fundraisers like its annual Corvette raffle.
