2017 MINI Cooper John Cooper Works


The International Motor Racing Research Center, Watkins Glen, NY, is a world-renowned motorsports archival and research library located in Watkins Glen, NY, site of America’s first post-World War II road race and where races have been run uninterrupted since. The Racing Research Center is dedicated to the preservation and sharing of the history of motorsports by collecting and making available to everyone books, films, photographs, programs, posters, fine art and documents of all race series, all tracks, worldwide. The Center receives no public funding and supported solely by donations and fund-raising efforts such as its annual raffle of a significant vehicle.

2017 MINI Cooper John Cooper Works, Hardtop

” It is “pepper white” with a “chili red” roof and mirror caps.
The car also has a red “John Cooper Works bonnet stripe.”
This two-door, front-wheel-drive car has a six-speed manual transmission with overdrive and a 2.0-liter, 228-horsepower engine.
It has a panoramic moonroof, 17-inch silver aluminum wheels and heated front seats.

The wholesale value of the car is $32,120.

The annual car raffle is a major fundraiser for the Racing Research Center, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The winning ticket will be drawn at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10, during the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association’s U.S. Vintage Grand Prix at Watkins Glen International.
