Started in 1974. The event is held on Thanksgiving weekend and the 4th weekend in March.
Participants and spectators enjoy more than 7000 vintage, classic, muscle cars, trucks and other wheeled vehicles displayed for show and sale. The show also includes over 2500 swap meet spaces, an Artisan Alley, Live Entertainment and many types of food.
In its history, more than $19 million of profits from the Turkey Run have funded charitable organizations as well as many local programs, projects & recreational facilities.
The Daytona Beach Street Rods have been hosting the Turkey Run Car Show for almost 52 years. During those years we’ve donated the proceeds of our raffle cars to local and national charities. As of 2025 our donations have totaled over $1,300,000. Pretty darn good for a bunch of Old Hot Rodders. We look forward to giving away our ’97 Chevy 1500 in 2026.
Daytona Turkey Run, Inc. is a Florida not-for-profit corporation (a 501(c)(7) club, not a 501(c)(3)) registered with the State of Florida to solicit charitable donations (registration CH39802). Read about this year’s raffle in Hometown News Volusia.
