The SCCA Foundation, Topeka, Kansas, is the 501(c)(3) public charity that is a supporting organization of the Sports Car Club of America. For more than 80 years SCCA has shaped American amateur motorsports through competition, community, education and volunteer leadership, and the Foundation carries that legacy forward. Every entry helps preserve, protect and expand the opportunities found in SCCA motorsports for future generations. The Foundation’s work includes expanding SCCA Academy training and education, supporting regional leaders, volunteers and event workers, Tire Rack Street Survival teen driver schools, Women on Track, Formula SAE, Driven Warriors, and preserving the SCCA Collection and making historic records more accessible.
About the car: This is the SCCA Foundation’s first-ever car sweepstakes, and the prize is a first-year 1967 Porsche 911S valued at $185,000. The 911S was the first “S” (“Super”) version of the 911, with a high-revving 2.0-liter air-cooled flat-six. This one has a numbers-matching engine and transaxle verified by Kardex documentation, and it is finished in silver with Martini Racing livery over black upholstery. It is fully street legal and track-ready, with a major engine-out service completed in 2023, and it finished the 2023 Tejas Turismo, a 3-day, 800-mile rally through Texas Hill Country. The winner can take the car or $80,000 cash.
