The Newtown Lions Club Foundation is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization which is partnering with other organizations to help the Survivors of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy. The Newtown Lions want to help our community heal and as such is providing counseling services to the families and first responders of these horrific events through the support of the Connecticut Counseling Association. The primary goal of the Newtown Lions Foundation SHE Fund is to insure that all children, family members, staff, and first responders, from Sandy Hook Elementary School can obtain counseling with no out of pocket expenses. Our intention is to provide reimbursement for: – Counseling fees not covered by health insurance – Counseling fees for uninsured individuals.
