It’s a <strong>1921 Ford Model T “Huckster” Produce Truck</strong>. One lucky winner will win this this vintage farm vehicle in the drawing to be held at our 100th Annual Meeting in 2013. Or, the grand prize winner may select a<strong> John Deere lawn mower</strong> or <strong>the cash prize of $5,000</strong>. Second prize is $1,000 in groceries and third prize is $500 in fuel. Other prizes including frozen food and farm fun.</p> <p>Winners’ names will be drawn September 13, 2013. The Winner’s Choice Raffle is the Foundation’s primary fundraising endeavor. Last year’s raffle helped the Foundation provide more than $28,000 in college tuition assistance, internships and FFA chapter grants.</p> <p>The Kane County Farm Bureau was one of the first county Farm Bureaus in the nation to organize and has a date of 1912 on its charter. Chartered as the Kane County Farm Improvement Association, it organized to help farmers improve their production practices. In 1919, our name was changed to Kane County Farm Bureau. Today we serve both rural and urban people who are interested in the well-being of agriculture. The Farm Bureau is the largest farm organization in Kane County, Ilinois and the U.S. Locally over 17,000 member families belong to the Kane County Farm Bureau.
