The mission of Belleville Township High School, Illinois, District 201 is to provide all students with a quality education and lifelong learning skills necessary to meet tomorrow’s challenge.
Belleville East has a long tradition of great concert bands. The focus of the band program is centered around the concert band. Students must participate in a concert band before participation in the jazz program. Students must also march in order to participate in concert bands. During the 2007-2008 school year we added the Wind Ensemble. Wind Ensemble is the premiere concert band at East – made up of the most advanced musicians on campus. A majority of the students in Wind Ensemble study privately.
