Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County, Trenton, New Jersey;
..a group of educators and concerned citizens founded a chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Mercer County, to serve at-risk youth – particularly those living in single-parent homes.
Today, BBBS is still a vital part of the social service structure of Mercer County, serving over 600 children annually.
We recruit mentors through word of mouth, outreach, corporate and civic gatherings, as well as volunteer programs at high schools and colleges throughout the county.
Our mission is to create and support one-to one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
