St. Joseph High School is located on the Central California Coast in the city of Santa Maria. The motto of St. Joseph High School is “To Image Christ in Mind, Heart, Body and Soul.” This motto suggests two important ideas. First, we exist to spread the good news of Jesus Christ in the Catholic tradition and to model the Christian values of kindness, compassion, generosity, humility, and forgiveness in all we say and do. Second, we are committed to a holistic approach to education – the development of young people intellectually, physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually: mind, heart, body, and soul. We believe that every human being is composed of many facets, and that to develop fully any one facet requires the development of all aspects of the human self. We take this mission seriously, and every member of our faculty and staff is committed to it. Our mission is the driving force behind everything that happens each and every day at St. Joseph High School.
