Shepherds Heart Food Pantry began serving families in need in June, 2010. We exist to meet poverty and hunger head on and overcome it. Today it is one of the largest Food Pantries in Central Texas serving thousands of families to protect their children from being without food.
Our Mission is to feed, clothe, empower, and advocate for families in need in our community, demonstrating to them the love of God.
45% of the families we serve have jobs that just don’t pay enough. In 2018 we assisted 29,614 families with 2 million lbs. of food. We exist to meet poverty and hunger head on and change it.
