Georgetown Volunteer Fire Company, Georgetown, Connecticut, was organized in May of 1928 by a group of citizens who realized the need for fire protection in the community. Today, the men and women of the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Company are just as dedicated to the preservation of life and property as those who started this organization. In 2020, the Company responded to 766 emergency calls.
The Georgetown Volunteer Fire Company is unique. We have maintained our small town attitudes while combining them with state-of the art fire and EMS equipment. From our seventy foot aerial tower truck to our 2022 Type I ambulance, we are equipped to handle all emergencies that come our way. Past Chief, Mike Heibeck
