The V Foundation for Cancer Research, Cary, North Carolina, was founded by ESPN and legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano with one goal in mind: to achieve Victory Over Cancer®  and save lives by funding game-changing research and all-star scientists. Since its formation in 1993, the V Foundation has awarded more than $250 million in cancer research grants nationwide and is a premier supporter of cutting-edge cancer research. 

The mission of the Dick Vitale Gala is to raise funds for premiere pediatric cancer research across the nation, while simultaneously promoting awareness of pediatric cancer and how devastating it is to our children and their families. As in prior years, net funds raised are utilized for the best research nationwide so one day no child will have to experience this horrific disease.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research 5/07/2021 Dick Vitale GALA Raffle Grand Prize;

- Car #3 - a 2021 BMW 430i White Convertible

with an MSRP of $57,185.

The drawing will take place at the Dick Vitale Gala at The Ritz-Carlton in Sarasota, Florida, on Friday, May 7, 2021.

At the 16th Annual Gala, Dick Vitale will honor University of Florida Head Football Coach Dan Mullen, Auburn University Head Men’s Basketball Coach Bruce Pearl, University of Notre Dame former Head Women’s Basketball Coach Muffet McGraw and ESPN “SportsCenter” Host Scott Van Pelt. Vitale will also recognize ESPN NFL Football Analyst Chris Mortensen with the V Foundation John Saunders Courage Award.

TICKETS AVAILABLE UNTIL: April 30, 2021 at 11:59 pm EST

Entries by mail must be postmarked by April 23, 2021 and received no later than 12:00pm ET on April 30, 2021.

The V Foundation awards 100% of direct donations to cancer research and related programs.
The V Foundation's endowment covers administrative expenses.
