The Capital City Education Alliance (CCEA Hartford), Simsbury, Connecticut; lays the foundation for workforce readiness by inspiring and empowering youth in Greater Hartford through projects and partnerships that build character, skills, and pathways to success.

For over 50 years the Capital City Education Alliance (CCEA Hartford), formerly the Greater Hartford Jaycee Foundation, has funneled many human and financial resources into area nonprofits. In September 2015, we established a new mission with our new identity.

At CCEA Hartford, we want to partner with others in the greater Hartford area to help students become employable and earn a living wage. Our work consists of laying the foundation for workforce readiness development among middle and high schoolers in the Hartford area and the neighboring communities who support Hartford residents.
