Our Mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.

Through 21 year-round SPORTS, Special Olympics Missouri offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities training and competition divisioned by age and ability. We’re more than sports, however; our program gives athletes the CONFIDENCE and skills to hold jobs, get better grades and earn respect. We provide an OPPORTUNITY for every individual to feel accepted and appreciated. Whether you coach, volunteer or donate, you can see REWARDS immediately. EXPERIENCE the true spirit of sport today.

Prize Details

The Drive It Home Raffle is a project of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Missouri and a signature event of Special Olympics Missouri.
Grand Prize:
2016 Ford F-150 XLT

There will be eight finalists. Seven finalists will be selected from each of the Special Olympics Missouri Service Areas. One will be selected from Game Day Sales that take place before the MU vs. Arkansas football game on 11/25/16, during the Zimmer Tailgate Party. One finalist will win the truck and the seven remaining finalists will each receive $500 bucks! Below are some important Dates to Remember:
Last day to purchase tickets and enter the raffle for Area drawings 10/31/2016
Area Finalist drawings held 11/7/2016 - 11/9/2016
Area Finalists and game day incentive winners contacted 11/10/2016 - 11/15/2016
Game Day Sales and Game Day Finalist Selected 11/25/2016
Grand Prize Giveaway at MU vs. Arkansas Game 11/25/2016 (must be present or have a representative present to win)

Proceeds benefit SOMO's 15,000 athletes who participate in sports year-round across the state.
