The Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, was established in September 1994 and operates to meet the educational needs of the foodservice industry. The Foundation focuses on providing the necessary resources to help restaurateurs confront educational and labor challenges with the latest innovations in education, technology, and training. The Foundation’s primary goals and objectives are to:
- Promote public awareness of careers in the foodservice industry
- Enhance educational opportunities by providing professional development training for new and existing personnel
- Provide industry based education to culinary educators in an effort to reach new standards in high school foodservice education.
