The Kentucky Opera is back again with another amazing raffle! This year it’s a Design your own 2011 Porsche Raffle! The Kentucky Opera was founded in 1952 by Moritz von Bomhard and designated the State Opera of Kentucky in 1982. Operas were presented in the Columbia Auditorium until 1964 when they moved to the Brown Theatre. The company began performing selected works at Whitney Hall in the Kentucky Center for the Arts in 1984 and moved all main stage performances to the Whitney in 2000. The Louisville Orchestra plays for all performances, and the Louisville Ballet performs on occasions when operas require classical dance.


Prize Details

New for the 2011 Raffle!

• 1st prize winner receives $60,000 to design their own Porsche at Blue Grass Motorsport or a $50,000 cash option. (car must be ordered within 30 days of drawing)

• 2nd and 3rd prize winners receive the use of a Porsche from Blue Grass Motorsport for a weekend. (Friday until Monday; must be redeemed by August 22, 2011)

You're not limited to your selection of model, exterior color or interior leathers. This year’s winner will have $60,000 to spend as you please on the Porsche of your selection and design from Blue Grass Motorsport.
