The Restaurant Association of Maryland Education Foundation
The Restaurant Association of Maryland Education Foundation (RAMEF) serves as the preferred source of education, training, resources and research for Maryland’s hospitality industry. RAMEF is the educational arm of the Restaurant Association of Maryland and has the mission of Improving the Hospitality Industry through Education.
RAMEF pursues its mission three ways – Professional Development for those currently working in the industry, Workforce Development for the future by encouraging young people to pursue careers in the hospitality industry and through Scholarship Programs helping people pursue higher education in hospitality & food service management and culinary arts.
Professional Development – raising the level of education of those already in the industry
Workforce Development – providing opportunities for young people to pursue hospitality careers and their dreams of “owning their own restaurant” or becoming the next “top chef”.
Scholarship Programs – helping people meet the financial needs of higher education and their ongoing professional development.
Raffle Prizes
Grand Prize is the beautiful 2011 Audi A3 or $25,000 in cash! On top of that there are additional cash prizes of $10,000 for second and $5,000 for third! In addition with every ticket purchase the ticket buyer gets $25 gift certificates to 12 area restaurants! (visit the site for the list – link below)
