Raffle Benefits
The YWCA San Gabriel Valley (hereafter “YWCA SGV”) is a nonprofit organization affiliated with the YWCA USA and is tax-exempt under federal and state laws. YWCA SGV is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting justice, freedom, and dignity for all. YWCA SGV programs include services to victims of domestic violence (including counseling, legal aid, and a shelter), services to older adults (including meal programs and case management), and services to teens (including leadership and educational programs.)
YWCA SGV is conducting this raffle of a 2010 Nissan Altima (as well as second and third cash prizes of $1,000 each) pursuant to California Penal Code section 320.5, as a way to raise funds to cover the costs of providing services to the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys. Raffle Ticket & Contact Info
Raffle tickets are $35 each, or 3 for $75, payable to YWCA SGV. Raffle tickets must be purchased in person by 12:30 p.m. on June 17, 2010, or online via http://www.ywcasgv.org by 8 a.m. on June 17, 2010. Only ticket holders with valid paid tickets are eligible to participate in the raffle. Any purchase requests received with payment after the above-stated times will be returned. YWCA SGV assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, or non-delivered online purchase or any other failure to deliver tickets prior to any deadline.
