Kristie’s Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2003 by Laurie Kotas. Her inspiration is her 7-year-old daughter Kristie who passed away on September 29th, 1985 from Leukemia. It was Kristie’s love of life and end of life experience that inspires Laurie to reach out to other families during this crisis.
Kristie was so full of life and loved dressing up, wild theme park rides, and spending time with her dog and
family. When Kristie’s time was limited, Laurie took every opportunity to find ways to cherish each and every day. Days at theme parks, feeding the ducks and looking for rainbows are some of Laurie’s most treasured memories.
Laurie’s dream is to change the way we care for terminally ill children and have a very special place for children and their families to go at the end of a child’s life. A place where families can have privacy along with the medical expertise and support they need.
Raffle Prize
A beautiful brand new 2009 Jaguar XF generously donated by Alvarez Jaguar of Riverside, CA. Tickets are only $25 each and no more than 4000 will be sold!
