The COS fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to honor the spirit of our son, brother, and friend, Michael Kellam Costello who was fondly referred to as COS.  Michael lost his battle with cancer in 2011.

The COS fund supports undergraduate students with high-financial needs achieve academic success through the gift of textbooks. Many students are limited by their inability to purchase expensive required texts and necessary learning materials.

The COS fund enables students to be independent thinkers and learners by removing financial obstacles to educational achievement.  To learn more about our students please visit the COS Scholars tab.

Prize Details

Grand Prize:
a 2001 Mercedes-Benz CLK 430 Convertible.
This magnificent specimen has only 8,700 original miles. This car has never felt a raindrop or snowflake and has been meticulously maintained.
The exterior is silver with a navy blue convertible roof.
The interior features grey leather seats and burl wood details throughout.
The car comes with special model AMG rims.
Michelin donated 4 brand new, low-profile, high performance tires from the Pilot Sport series 91Y.
Car has been recently serviced and is in need of nothing.
