1970 Chevy Chevelle SS 454

The Nazarene Group, Norristown, Pennsylvania, is a Christian non-profit 501(c)3 organization that sole purpose is to encourage, inspire, assist, promote, and develop new and existing companies and provide them with the skills and resources to reach their full potential to operate within a competitive business marketplace.

This will be accomplished through rehabilitation of blighted property; creation of jobs in the USA with benefits; good wages and working conditions; consulting; job training; job placement; quality control; partnership; mentoring; community development and financial assistance. The goal of the Chevelle contest and all donations is to generate funding to facilitate this initiative by building the resources to support this endeavor.

Purchased in 1976 as Chevelle SS 396 and converted to a Chevelle SS 454 in 1981, this Chevelle roamed the streets of Philadelphia with a bad attitude from 1976 to 1986. Based in the West Oaklane section of the city it was a major threat in the street racing wars in Philadelphia. This car pulled the front off the ground going into 3rd gear on several occasions and never lost a race with the 454 engine. It was garaged from 1986 to 2013 and has never been restored. Now it is back and looking for a new owner. It has a new mission to generate money for job creation in Philadelphia. This SS could be yours. Help us out… buy some chances today. Thanks!
