The WPCC was officially founded in 1973 as Chapter 158 of the Corvair Society of America (CORSA). The goal of both WPCC and CORSA is to increase the enjoyment and preservation of the Chevrolet Corvair.
The Corvair Society of America (CORSA) is a world-wide organization with 4,000 members and 120 local chapters worldwide. Founded in 1969, it is a large and enthusiastic group of automobile enthusiasts and one of the best single marque clubs in the world. CORSA, a non-profit organization, was incorporated to satisfy the common needs of individuals interested in the preservation, restoration, and operation of the Corvair. CORSA’s long range goal is to promote reproduction of parts and render technical assistance to increase your enjoyment of the Corvair, and to further the general public’s appreciation of the car.
The Western Pennsylvania Corvair Club was recently selected by the Corvair Society of America (CORSA) to host the 2018 CORSA International Corvair Convention in Pittsburgh, PA! Event dates will be July 23rd – 28th, 2018, and held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Greentree just west of downtown Pittsburgh.
