The Thunder Bay Historical Museum Society, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, was created in 1908 to preserve and interpret the history of Northwestern Ontario through lectures, publications, the erection of monuments and plaques, and the preservation of documents

Located in a historic building, which once served as a Police Station and Court House, the Thunder Bay Museum offers visitors six galleries of local, regional and national heritage. Enjoy the permanent exhibits on the main floor, depicting the early years of Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario.  Traveling and local exhibits that change frequently are featured on the second floor.  The Antechamber Gallery, featuring works by local artists and craftspeople; as well as a music gallery and military exhibit can be found on the third floor.

The Thunder Bay Museum 2020 Classic Car Raffle Grand Prize;

a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

- Lemans Blue in a base/clear
- Tires: B.F. Goodrich black walls
- Wheels: Polished aluminum American Racing Tourque Thrust II with chrome nuts and centres with anodized valve stems.
- Mechanical: 350 cid V8 engine. Firewall, rad support and inner fenders are all detailed Gloss Black and without imperfections. All body bolts and washers are chrome or stainless. New Edelbrock 650 carburetor
- . Exhaust is 2.5" aluminized duals with tailpipes
- Rear end is a 355 posi track with chrome differential cover and air shocks

This beautiful 1969 Camaro is being offered for raffle, part of a series of muscle car raffles the Museum has held since 2002. This was once a show car in Ohio before coming to London, Ontario, in 2005. Before the Museum bought the car, it had only three owners in its history.

Due to the COVID-19 virus the Thunder Bay Museum is announcing that our 2020 Classic Car Raffle ticket draw for a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro has been postponed until " 1 May 2021 " at 4 PM. The postponement to the raffle was done in coordination with the City of Thunder Bay Lottery Licensing office. The drawing will still take place at Fat Guys Auto Parts at 333 Memorial Ave.
All tickets sold to date are still valid for the drawing.
We appreciate our supporters’ and contributors’ patience during this challenging time.
