For only $3 a ticket (or less!) you have the rare opportunity to take home your very own piece of California Gold. Your donation not only enters you into our Collector Car Drawing to win this classic car, but also provides a “home away from home” for families of children being treated in our regional Children’s Hospital. Prize Details

The 1968 Gt California Special Ford Mustang - Sunlit Gold 390ci V-8 Engine C-6 3-speed automatic transmission. In 1968 Ford hit gold by combining their traditional Mustang with the performance and styling cues of the Shelby Mustang. What began as a standard 1968 Mustang was then outfitted with Shelby fiberglass panels, tail lights, and performance and styling packages to present car enthusiasts with the limited production “California Special.” This year the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley would like to bring our supporters the opportunity to own this rare 1968 GT California Special Ford Mustang. A little over 4,000 GT California Specials, or “GT/CS” were produced in 1968. This Sunlit Gold GT/CS is documented as only 1 of 6 identical cars produced by Ford significantly contributing to its rarity. A documented search for the Carolina Special Mustangs revealed this vehicle to quite possibly be the last one! This collector car as received a complete and extensive restoration (see photos on the site) to produce an essentially new car with zero miles on all components. This is as close to a new 1968 GT California Special “big block” car as you will ever see!
