The Grafton Township Fire Department, Grafton, Ohio, has an operational strength of 25 members that work out of the fire station located at 17109 State Route 83. The Administrative section consists of Fire Chief Bob Richards, Assistant Chief Tim Adams, Assistant Chief Dan Hlas, Lieutenant Chris Sukel, Lieutenant Mike Palmer, EMS Coordinator Becky Mole and Assistant EMS Coordinator Penny.
We currently run with 2 rescue squads, 3 fire engines, 1 tanker, 1 pumper/tanker, and 1 grass fire truck. Besides serving the community with rescue calls, fire calls and motor vehicle accidents, we provide training in CPR, First Aid, fire extinguishers for our residents and businesses. We assist the county with Hazardous Materials, Dive Team Rescue and Arson Investigation within the county.
The Grafton Township Fire Department is a volunteer department consisting of 26 members. We serve a 25 square mile area of Grafton Township in north central Ohio. Population 2900.
Funds raised from the raffle will be used towards the purchase of Stryker Power Cots for our two ambulances.
