The Rotary Club of Clayton-Ladue, MO., is proud to lead the Drivin’ For The Blues campaign. Neighbors, friends, and community leaders come together as Rotary – creating positive, lasting change here and around the world. Founded in 1905, Rotary has tackled challenges including the eradication of polio and promoting literacy worldwide, helping local and international organizations from the UN to Easter Seals.

The National Blues Museum, a non-profit, is a world-class cultural institution being opened in 2015 in downtown St. Louis.
The NBM will explore the Blues and celebrate the genre as the foundation of all modern American music. The facility will educate guests in an entertaining environment that includes high impact technology driven experiences, a 100-seat theater, artifact-driven exhibits and robust public programming.

Prize Details

This red '65 Mustang is powered by the freshly rebuilt motor and backed by the original Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission. Options on this 1965 Ford Mustang include: original AM/FM in-dash radio, front disc breaks, seat belts, vinyl interior and the classic spoke wheels. The restoration on this 1965 Ford Mustang was completed locally and has been owned by one family since completion. This classic has less than 2000 miles since the restoration that included among many other things: replaced front quarter panels and hood, car was stripped down to bare metal, a stunning red paint job was professionally applied and a new white vinyl top was installed. An aftermarket console was installed to provide modern sound with CD player and three speaker system. This feature was added to conserve the originality of the vehicle and can be easily be removed by removing four screws. This classic will be right at home in local parades or cruising the town with the top down.

The funds raised will help support many of the charities The Clayton-Ladue Rotary club supports each year along with theNational Blues Museum opening in 2015 here in St Louis.
