East Syracuse-Minoa C.H.S. Automotive Service Technology classes give students the opportunity to study the technical knowledge and skills necessary to enter into the automotive service industry. Coursework is designed to be at least 50% hands-on. Students are exposed to real-world projects. Topics include: general information and maintenance, diesel and gasoline engine theory, engine performance and tune-up, emissions controls, fuel systems, electrical systems, drive train, suspension and steering, brakes, metal fabricating procedures and miscellaneous student interest. This year, students have chosen to build another Factory Five Racing Inc. Roadster MK IV. This is our third Roadster from FFR. All proceeds from the raffle directly benefit the students enrolled in the Automotive Technology course. The funds are used to purchase the next project vehicle. Students take great pride in applying their knowledge and completing a project. Thank-you for your continued support.
