Mission Statement: Lydia’s House works in faith to end domestic violence by being a place of healing and a voice of hope for abused women and their children.
Lydia’s House, Saint Louis, Missouri, provides up to two years of safe and confidential transitional housing to survivors of domestic violence women and their children. Fully furnished apartments are provided to families and single women so they can start rebuilding their lives free of violence. Up to two years of transitional housing gives survivors enough time to be financially self-sufficient to rent or purchase permanent housing of their own.
